International Commission on Human Rights: Violating the judicial system in Lebanon is dangerous

The media office of the Middle East Commissioner for Human Rights and her advisor to the United Nations in Geneva, Ambassador Dr. Haitham Abu Said, announced that the political debate in Lebanon has exceeded the accepted substantive debate in Lebanese political life, to question the work of the Supreme Judicial Council, the highest judicial authority. It is an anomaly that can lead to serious consequences.

The statement noted that the IHRC is closely monitoring developments in this field, calling on the political parties to be careful not to go too far on the judicial system, which is a safety valve for Lebanon and all its life, bearing the political parties involved in distorting and distorting the judicial process for narrow political objectives.
